"helped my chicken"
We only have a small flock of chickens, but after one chicken got a horrible dog bite that opened her air sack, our local feed store recomended that we use pro pen and she healed completely and is now laying eggs! I didn't think she would make it a day, as I could hear air coming out of her wound. Thank you!
"Good for certain applications"
We rarely use antibiotics on our farm but the rule of thumb is, if it's necrotic, it gets Pen G.
"Medical Kit Must"
This is an antibiotic that is a must to have on hand. It is probably the number one antibiotic recommend from our vet and is nice to have on hand when you need it. Keep in refrigerator when not using. We pack in our cooler to take along to shows.
I have been buying Pro-Pen-G as my only source of Penicillin for several years. I like the price. The quality has always been top notch. It seems to stay suspended in the liquid better than some other brands, so it is easier to use when the unexpected happens and you need it fast. I have horses, goats, dogs, cats and chickens and use this on all of them when needed.
Pen G is the staple of all farmers - though I now can get my hands on a variety of antibiotics Penicillin is an easy to use and effective antibiotic for multitude of needs. Wont be without it
