    "Update: no longer Best"

Yes, I originally rated the Pooch Pick-up Bags with 5 stars, but the last time I ordered them, apparently the manufacturer has changed the product CONSIDERABLY. Buyer beware. I'll be looking for an alternative.

    "Dependable!"

These are great and good for the environment. They are dependable and sturdy as well. I like things a certain way, and I?ÇÖm never without these bags. As a new dog owner, I had to get used to cleaning up after my dog, but if he only eats his Synergy dog food then I know when and how much he?ÇÖs going to go, and I can clean it up quickly with these bags.

    "Update NOT really biodegradable"

"Long story short... after months of use, these bags don't readily compost, and a call to their customer service reps readily told me that these bags are 5% cornstarch, otherwise plastic, and it takes many months before they will even start to break apart ""in optimal conditions."" Even then, that means breaking into lots of little plastic pieces. That is not what I thought ""biodegradable"" meant. My bad? Kudos to the company for their customer service people being honest, but... if you're looking to buy ""green""/compostable bags, not so much."

    "Great bags!"

These bags are great! Very affordable compared to most others, and super affordable compared to other biodegradable bags, plus more sturdy and larger and easier to tie closed than any other similar eco-friendly bag I have seen available.

    "Larger than average, Suitable Thickness"

We like the large size, and easy ties to close the bags. I've used biodegradable bags before and they were too thin, putting my hands in uncomfortable touch with the doodie. These may even be thicker than the bags on board. Very pleased. They do not come in rolls, so we just tie them to the leash. Jeffers offers the most competitive offered price, as usual.

    "Best bags around"

For several reasons, we've tried several of the other bio-de waste bags currently on the market, but time and time again, we keep coming back to Pooch Pick-up brand. The bags aren't too small, they're not too big, the handle-tie feature is perfect. They're simply the best bags around.
