"Works only at short distancesnand eats batteries"

Collar never worked over 60 feet and eats batteries. The collar uses (2) CR2032 batteries which cost about $6.00. The batteries drain very quickly. I was lucky to get a week on a set of batteries. However, other than all of these shortcomings, the collar did get my dogs attention.

    "Remote Trainer"

Works great. I have a dog that got away from me in the woods chasing wild pigs. I began using the trainer and she has never gotten away from me again, and that's only with the sound application. It is nice to be able to let a dog run, and this allows that with enough control not to encounter injuries.

    "Remote Trainer"

Have been using this trainer on my German Shorthaired Pointer. Works great for what my dog needs. I only use the sound for him.

"petsafe dog trainer (10 correction setting)"

I own the remote correction collar. It does work, however is very cheaply built. I also have problems gettting the batteries in the collar and have to use something to guide them in. The remote cracked on the inside were the battery goes and was always losing connection. This was like this after the 3 time of use. We had to put a piece of paper or cardboard in it to hold it in place.
