This stuff is amazing!! My rescue mare was trying to heal from a horrible wound and re-gain weight, then after a few days of rain and her rolling in the mud: RAIN ROT! I tried everything I could think of. She was getting baths all the time w/ various products to cure it. In desperation, I tried this stuff. I worked!! Only took 3 days! Totally worth the money! Glad I've got this stuff in my barn now! Good by rain rot and scurf!
This stuff is a life saver! Rain rot is no longer a problem with Muck itch. Not only does it clear it up, it also saves the hair. unlike traditional oiling and grooming off that has a tendency of taking the hair with it, this stuff doesn't. And it work very fast. A few short days and you will have a nice bump free horse. It works on many other skin conditions that I have encountered but this review is getting a little long. try it and you will see how great it is!
"Great for Rain Rot"
This stuff is amazing! Tried everything for my TB/Warmblood to cure his rain rot. Nothing worked, until I tried Muck-Itch. It's $$$, but it works great AND leaves the treated area soft and scab free. Highly recommend.
"Fast acting on Scratches"
I tried various remedies on chronic scratches on our Percheron mare without great success. Muck itch cleaned them up within 3 days, even softened and reduced some of the scar tissue on her front legs from prior breakouts. Wonderful product, highly recommend it.
"Great skin product"
This product cleaned up some dew poisioning on an uncooperative colt that I had tried everything else on to no avail. Withing three days, it was almost gone. It was much easier to apply to a moving target too! This year, I tried using it on some horses with bug sensitivities who would scrub their manes and tails until raw. I was surprised, but it worked for that too and they don't have to stay up at night anymore! I'm glad to see that Jeffers is now carrying Muck-Itch.
