"Excellent for molting hens!"
My hens LOVE these! I teach backyard chicken classes and highly recommend it for extra protein when they are molting instead of cat food like most folks use (not really that good for them). A rounded tablespoon per bird per day while molting and they get so excited--protein packed yummy treat. I also add about a half tablespoon per hen into the wet organic mash once a day in spring and summer for the four year old hens to keep them laying and they continue to lay 4-6 extra large eggs a week. The avian veterinarian (yes, I have them checked each year) says they are in excellent health! LOVE THIS STUFF!
My chickens go crazy for mealworm frenzy. as soon as they see the container come out they come running. they love their morning treat and it is easy to get them into the barn quickly. Just shake the container and they are inside. great product and easy to feed when mixed with their scratch grains.
"Candy for Chicks, and Guineas"
THEY LOVED THIS! I am training the chickens and Guineas to come to the hen house in the evening, I fed these to them at the same spot same time for a week. Now when they here the container shake they come running. Its just like handing out candy to the kids. Try it you will be amazed.
"Not Just for Chickens!"
These mealworms are great for many animals, not just chickens! I have a Leopard Gecko and he loves them! I had to hand feed them to him at first, because he prefers live food, but now he will eat them from his food bowl. I also feed them to my tarantula, turtle, and various species of fish. They are also great in bird feeders. Bluebirds love them!
"Chickens go crazy for them!"
Your chickens will go crazy for this, they absolutly love them, plus they are a good source of protein. Try them your chickens will love you for it.
