    "Great product for price"

Ivermectin 1.87% is Ivermectin 1.87% no matter what the pretty box looks like or who makes it. Jeffers ivermectin 1.87% is the same as other brands, just much more affordable when you have several animals that need deworming.

    "Works for me (them!)"

They say our horses are becoming resistant ( well, the worms are) to this product but it seems to work for me at my place. Horses seem as healthy as they could possibly be. I do rotate wormers.

    "jeffers wormer"

Easy to use, put along side of cheek and teeth. This way the tongue can't easily spit out, and it will spread more around the mouth. If you immediately push the head up in the air they cannot mouth as easily.

    "Works for Mine"

I have three horses that have used this product in original form and now the gel. I just mixed a little less than 1/2 cup of plain applesauce with it stir it good and mix it with small amount of their grain and they eat all of it ; will continue using it

    "JEFFERS IVERMECTIN DEWORMER"

The new gel is horrible they spit it out. What a mess. such a shame they have to mess with a proven good thing.

    "Gel wormer is not good"

I have bought Jeffers ivermectin for years. The new gel is not good. I have multiple horses who can spit it out. Horses who have never offered to spit out wormer spit this out. So having to buy 2 wormers to get one horse wormed is not a good plan. Now I can't tell if they are getting the wormer swallowed or not. This is not a step forward.

"Syringe too long for someone with small hands+"

My horses and I like the new gel. The syringe seems longer than the old one. I have small hands and it is difficult to use for 2 of my 9 horses who hate to be wormed.

"new gel formula is a step backwards"

The only complaint I have is new gel doesn't stick. I did two horses and both spit it out. It was a waste of time and money. I will not purchase this product, in the gel form again.

    "WORKS FOR MY HORSES"

I have many horses, big, and the miniatures, plus have foals now and then, have used this wormer for years with good results. What I do is have the grain in the can add the wormer and mix it good-then pour into the feed bucket and they eat it all gone.As I had some horses that did not like it in the mouth,so I do it this way and no problem--had horses over 45 years. good luck

    "Babies with worms. "

If anyone complained that it did not get worms in a baby, then you need to do your research. For babies, you do not depend on Ivermectin of ANY type, you need a Pyrantel Pamoate, or one of the other types to get roundworms. Roundworms after a horse turns a certain age do not live well in a horse (of course if they are encysted that is another story) but thrive in babies. Roundworms do not kill well with ANY ivermectin so I do my babies with Exodus, or a pyrantel pamoate product and do a full tube for a weanling and no problem. Then in the fall after the first killing frost I use Ivermectin. But a baby can die from roundworms if you depend on Ivermectin! Different wormers are better for different things. IE not all wormers get Tape worm.... treat with the correct wormer.

    "happy customer"

I have used Jeffers brand Ivermectin for more than 20 years with NO complaint. The medication is the same - read the label or ask you Vet. I like the smaller tube, easier to carry in my pocket.

    "Works just fine"

I asked my husband about the plunger, as he used 2 of these yesterday on our TWHs. He said they initially do work hard, but once you get them going they work just fine.

    "horrible design "

I am not disputing the effectiveness of the medication but the design of the plunger itself is terrible. None of my horses like taking their wormer. It's an argument at best and a down right brawl at times. When I finally did get the tip in their mouths, it didn't want to squirt the wormer out quickly and it took me several times before they got the proper dose. I've used other brands with none of these issues. I'd rather pay more for a product that doesn't irritate me and my horses so much.

    "Info source"

"I question those reviews that state this is a weak form of Ivermectin. It has the same amt of active ingredient as the ""big name"" compounds. Also the last time I checked with my Vet there is no resistance buildup to this product. Perhaps Jefferswould have something to say in this regard. A foal showing the high infestation as described by one user would scare me silly. Best check your husbandry."
