Yes our pet will be cool when we travel to Florida. Many beaches don't allow pets so one of these in each window along with a solar dash fan parked in the shade will keep her Cool! Thank you just what we were looking for.
"Car window vents"
I first bought the small set to let air flow through the car for our dog on our trips to the beach. They worked so well I bought the larger one this year to let more air inside. I leave them in all the time and it helps keep the interior of the car cooler on hot days. I might have to make up a label to put on the as I'm always asked where I got them. I had a women follow me for several miles the other day just to ask me. I have checked many local pet shops and none of them Carrie then. I might have to buy extras to keep in the car to sell
"Best thing ever, when used on appropriate temp. days! "
Many, many pet owners ask us WHERE we got these and we refer them to your website. Our 2 aussies LOVE having the breezes blow thru our car and truck! Of course we do not use these on super hot days, DUH! Our dogs stay at home on those days. Love their portability, that they close up flat, not taking up much storage space. We can't live without ours! Keep selling them forever, PLEASE!
"I use these for open windows at night"
These work great in you have windows that slide up on your house. In the winter in Florida I like to be able to have fresh air at night. I place these in the bottom of a window frame in front of the screen - the cats and dogs can see out, but not get out and we get the benefit of fresh air in the house.
"Encourages dangerous habit"
While these serve a purpose, I recently saw someone with their dog in the car on a dangerously hot day. There are irresponsible people who must think that this is the answer to leaving your dog in the car when it's just too hot. Having a window opened a few inches does not mean it's safe on days that are even as warm as the 60's if the sun is out. The only good thing about this is that it's easier for someone to actually help your suffering dog and that's a good thing.
"sell alot of these"
I get asked where I got these-- everyone thinks they are great- especially my 2 girls!! they are safe and still get fresh air!
Great product - allows for opening the windows further without risking a pet escaping, or snapping at a passing human. Makes me more confident when I make a quick stop with my animals along!
"Now invent a different style"
When I had an SUV with a door that had a frame all the way around the window, I LOVED these window pet vents. They were beyond awesome and saved the day many times. However, I had to sell the SUV and now have a Subaru Outback wagon. The doors do NOT have the frame over the top and down the sides of the door windows. They are like a convertibles door. *Sigh* I miss those vents so much and now I can't take the dogs as often. WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE design a vent that works on a non-framed auto window?
"Needed 2 for one window"
I agree with the other review, I just received the product and see I will need two for one window. I have a Honda CRV and the back window is curved. But, once I receive the second set, I will be very happy with the product and so will my Goldens!
"Fits straight windows"
I bought 2 for my back windows. *But* I have a Cirrus so my back windows are curved (not straight across like the picture) so it takes 2 of these to fit one window to compensate for the curve. So I'm ordering 2 more so both windows can be down for cross ventilation.
I love this!! I have 3 dogs that have the run of my SUV. I have 2 of these vents, one for each back door window. I have a 100 pound pit/lab mix,a 65 pound shepherd/cattledog mix and a 60 pound retriever/border collie mix. I no longer worry about them when I go shopping and leave the vehicle in the lot. They have plenty of air plus I don't worry about somebody walking by and suddenly one of the dogs heads is popping out of a rolled down window. I also have 2 horses and the dogs stay in the car, but no worries of them sticking their heads out of the window and spooking a horse. It is sturdy and fits very snuggly in my window. Just remember when driving, not to accidently roll down the window with the vent in it!! I had another dog owner stop me to find out where I got the vent.Great product...
