One size fits 00-2.
EVA foam pad included.
I've used these twice now and am ordering more. The last one I used lasted more than a week in turnout. I bandaged the foot with gauze, vet wrap and duct tape and put this bandage over it. I then put more vet wrap and duct tape over it. Had to renew the duct tape once or twice but it all held up fairly well. The Velcro is super strong. This bandage alone probably would not have held up so well. Adding the duct tape over it is the key.
"Nice and decently durable"
My mare has an abscess and has needed her hoof wrapped daily. I put my poultice down, vet wrap, duct tape, then put this boot over the duct tape. The boot itself has held up pretty well, only slight fraying on the inside (She's had it on three days). She managed to slip it off her foot once but I believe she's biting on it. Overall it's been a great product. It doesn't fit perfectly, but it does the job. The Velcro is so strong I have a hard time getting it off! But that is a good thing. I would like to see a waterproof fabric put on the outside layer, just to keep excess moisture out. The numbers printed on the straps are LIFE SAVERS the first few times. Good product for when turnout is your only option.
"Will always have in tack trunk"
7 days in turnout (muddy conditions too) and is still usable much better then duct tape and/or vet wrap. Velcro is super strong so much so that I had a hard time undoing it.
Don't waste your money! It only lasted 2 hours before being ripped and torn off a barefoot horse in a small grass turn out. Does NOT live up to it's description at all!
"works well for a temp item"
I have used this several time for my boy for abscesses. The velcro is extreme! I have been very pleased with how well it has stayed on for him. Not perfect, but I've had more success with this temp bandage then I've had with the vet wrap/duct tape way. SO much easier to apply then that. It is going on it's third use.
"Not worth the money"
Would not buy them again.Bought 4,1 had the velcro missing before I even unpacked it.They lasted 3 days in the stalls.I have learned my lesson again. You get what you pay for.It would have been nice if they could have lasted a little longer
