"GREAT FOR DOGS, TOO!"
"Healthy Coat ""for horses"" is an absolutely wonderful product. There is also a Healthy Coat ""show formula"" that is for steer, goats, sheep, and pigs as well as a Healthy Coat ""for dogs"". They are all produced and marketed by the same company, but as far as I can tell from a side by side comparison of the labels, they all basically share the same ingredients. The only major difference between the three is in the price. Healthy Coat ""for dogs"" usually costs about 50% more. I have 2 Dachshunds, a Chihuahua, and a French Bulldog who all love this stuff and will lick it up by itself, although I mix it in with their food. I give them 1 teaspoon daily and they all have healthy, shiny, vibrant coats and no skin issues. "
"Great value for the money"
I have been using this product for several years. I read Equus and Horse and Rider. I ran across an article stating that research shows Omega 3&6 helps with upper respiratory issues in horses. I have one of those horses that suffers with these issues and has had pneumonia and severe allergies in the past where a vet had to treat him. I also had an inhaler for him, he'd heave so badly. This is the product I found that has both Omegas in it. Since I began using this product, he is overall healthier and does not seem to suffer with these attacks as he did in the past.
"Very good product"
Even though this product is not advertised specifically for healthy hooves, it is the best product I have used for hoof growth and health. Works pretty well for skin and coat too.
