    "Favorite toy"

Great toy and durable too! My sister bought these for our dog. This is one of Jethro's favorite toys. I love how I can take the cover off and wash it. He never gets tired of these. He has several of them. They have different sounding squeakers in them. Will buy again.

    "Not as durable as advertised!"

This toy died after only one evening in my house. I expected that the soft exterior wouldn't last forever which was fine, but it was the so called durable rubber shell that was destroyed. Surprisingly it was not my doberman (who is renowned for his toy destroying ability) who ripped apart the shell, but rather my cute little german shorthair pointer who ripped out the squeaker and then proceeded to rip apart the shell one rubber chunk at a time. I am rating this toy as a two because this toy was a lot of fun for my dogs, but a complete waste of money for me.

    "Dexter's favorite! "

Our agressive chewer Dexter loves loves loves these. We have bough several and they are like two toys in one... the outside animal casing is cute and lasts a week or two before Dexter tears through them, then there's a good sqweeky toy on the inside for him to play with. Love it, and will buy many many more.

    "Best Toy for Heay Chewers"

"I have a two year old weimaraner who from day one has been a SUPER HEAVY chewer. I have gotten these for him as a puppy. I get him 4 a year for his b-day. He will eventually shred the skins off and when he does the egg becomes an ""outside"" toy. He has yet to chew through an egg and even once they don't squeak any more he still keeps running around chewing on them. We also give these as gifts to almost all of our dog friends and they always LOVE them as well. Seriously the best toy I've ever bought."

    "Cute but Tough"

With my own large breed dogs and any given number of large foster dogs, we need tough toys. Sammy Sheep was our first Hard Boiled Softie and is still around! The exterior 'softie' portion comes off for washing making it a great toy fit to be shared. Unique loud squeaker is lots of fun for the dogs and keeps them going back for this unique toy as a favorite in the box.

    "Great Toy"

My dogs love this toy. Tough inner core, and great sound. Takes a killing.

    "Tough and Dog Approved"

"This is the only squeaky/grunty toy to still be making noise after months of hard play by my German Shepherd. (The only other toy to come close is Kyjen's Plush Puppies hedgehog which also lasted for months, but did eventually succumb to a mauling.) The softie cover is no longer so cute with most of its face gnawed off, however it is still intact enough to stay on the rubber ""egg"" which is still whole and squeaking away. This is among my GSD's favorite toys, and he clearly loves the noise it makes, which is loud and can get old, but if the idea is doggy appeal, this toy is a raging success. Most noise-making toys succumb to the Big Jaws within hours if not days, but this one is still going strong, if a little war-torn."
