    "LOVE these nets"

These are THE best thing I have found to slow down my easy keeper Houdini mare. You can easily load 5 flakes of grass hay in these bags. This keeps my greedy eater busy for 24 hours with some hay left over. At first she attacked the net but after a couple minutes she calmed down and slowly began picking hay out. I highly recommend them

    "Perfect for my set-up!"

I have always used slow-feeder hay bags, but the ones I had were much smaller and took me forever to fill for each day. Love this large size.

"Shires Greedy Slow Feeder Hay Net"

So far I am loving it. My two mares are both overeaters. Both of them tend to paw at the hay net which would be a concern with any net if they had shoes on, which they do not. They are both looking slimmer which was the objective without having feed withheld. I am very pleased with this product. It also came very promptly.

    "Not Durable for Aggressive Eaters"

Didn't work to slow down my greedy eater (we nicknamed her the "angry eater" because she tosses her hay all over the place as she eats, even gets hay up in the rafters of her shelter), she tore a hole in the netting the very first day, then pulled the hay out of the large hole she made and ate the ration of hay as fast as she normally does. I was hoping this small hole/1" openings for $30 would work as the one that I was assured would stand up to her abuse cost $120 +. Slowed down my other horses though, but they nibble and chew calmly and don't eat like they're on a mission to plaster the hay everywhere or shake all the stuffing out of the net.

    "works great"

A slow feeder hay net that really slows down my horses... put on the tough-1 hay hoops... load up with hay and there still is a little left after my 12 hour shift
