Description

Once-a-month, topical spot-on treatments for fast-acting, long-lasting control of fleas, ticks, flea eggs, and lice. Each tube lasts 1 month.

For dogs and puppies over 8 weeks of age.

Frontline® Contains Fipronil to kill adult fleas and ticks.

Frontline® Plus also contains Methoprene (as an IGR) to break the flea and tick life cycle.*

  • Kills up to 100% of existing fleas in less than 24 hours
  • Continues killing fleas for an entire month or more
  • Remains waterproof for 30 days, even if your dog swims or is bathed
  • Gentle enough for puppies 8 weeks of age or older
Important Note: For best results, do not bathe dog 24 hours before or 48 hours after applying topical flea solutions.

*IGR - Insect Growth Regulator - Chemicals that disrupt and impede the life cycle of insects in the egg and larvae stage of development. The idea with an IGR is that if an insect cannot reach adulthood, it cannot reproduce. In short, IGR is a form of "birth control" for pests which helps keep the populations of unwanted pests under control by preventing current and future infestations.

    "Great Product"

I've been using Frontline for over 15 years. We had a Golden Retriever for 13 years and he never had a flea on him. I now use it on my two mixed breeds and they have never had a flea either. If you apply it correctly and once a month it really works!

    "Frontline PLUS"

Have used this for years. The vet tried to switch us to something else, it didn't work nearly as well, we're back on Frontline Plus. Notes: (1) Frontline without the Plus isn't the same thing. (2) Most effective as PART of a comprehensive flea prevention program.

    "Thank you Frontline"

Nothing is perfect when dealing with fleas and ticks but this is the best product I have found. This past year I thought it wasn't working because my dog had flea eggs at the root of his tail. Next time I applied it I was very careful to use good technique being sure it got on the skin not in the hair. Flea eggs all gone and ticks are dead when I remove them. I would hate to be without this product.

    "Waste of money"

This is such a waste of money. I gave all my dogs a capstar to kill the fleas and then put this on them to keep them off. Guess what not even a week later they are covered in fleas again. Now I have to spend another $100 to find something that works on all my dogs!! So mad.

    "did work"

I did use frontline and loved it, but last year it didn't work for me. I asked my at my vets and was told it wasn't want it once was. Something about they had to change because of a patent. I just know it doesn't work like it did. Very sad nothing works.

"USED ALL 3 TUBES IN ONE MONTH AND STILL DIDNT WORK!"

I don't know what it is about Frontline but it never seems to work! I literally used all 3 tubes in one month because the fleas would disappear for a few days and then come back with a vengeance! I am going to try Advantage next!

    "Best Ever Flea Control"

This is an excellant product! You have to follow the instructions and keep your pet out of water for at least 24 hours. My lab swims everyday and gets a bath once a week and this product holds up well. We have no fleas as long as she has this on her. We are very happy with this product and so is my lab.

    "It can work"

This year for some reason the flea infestations have been really bad. I have found this product works if you don't already have huge problem. It really only worked for me in conjunction with yard and home treatments, and it didn't work for very long. It's not a bad product, but for my situation in the climate where we live it just isn't enough. Do your research before buying.

    "Best Product for Ticks"

I have had to deal with serious tick problems twice over the years and both times Frontline is the only thing that works and works WELL. I highly reccomend Frontline. and I use it faithfully on all 3 of my dogs.

    "best way to control ticks"

We have a lot of ticks in the woods, and after a lot of trial and error, I swear by Frontline PLUS. Since we switched, I haven?ÇÖt found any ticks. Our pooches never had any reaction to it and I feel perfectly save using it.

    "The Best for the price"

This is reall y great to help control everything from fleas to ticks. I live in Indiana with a lot of trees. I use this on all of my dogs and I have the cat version too. For the price it is the best value to help with all insects on your critter!!

    "Use Monthly!"

Use this monthly on my dogs. Easy to apply and seems to be pretty effective. No fleas or lice on the dogs. The dogs still pick up ticks here in the summer. We do live in the woods and they often just stay on top of the skin and don't attach. Not completely effective with the ticks, but overall pretty effective.
