"Flicks is great"
This is the only pesticide freed fly spray that works. It smells good too. The concentrate makes 4 qts. and is a fraction of the cost of other premixed sprays.
"Natural fly spray that works"
I have used Flicks fly spray for several years. I have been very pleased with the performance. It works well for our 1-2 hour rides. I do keep a high power fly spray on hand for the few days when the flies are really bad.
I love this product! It smells incredible, makes the horse look beautiful and repels bugs!
"Best fly spray I've tried so far"
This is probably the best fly spray I have tried, either homemade or store bought. It actually keeps my horses from stomping after I spray them. It does nothing to repel against mosquitoes, however. My only real complaint is it sometimes seems to irritate my horses' skin. My buckskin is fine, but my grey horses will sometimes roll right after I apply it. They did it every time at first, but now they seem to be getting used to it because it's mostly stopped. Also, some people seem to really like the smell. I think it's repulsive.
"Non-toxic is great"
This not only works to repel flies but I love that I am not spraying posions that I or my horse could breathe or ingest. Years ago John Lyons rated this #1 (before he started accepting ads in his newsletter). He was right. It works great. People actually come up to me and ask why my horse smells so good.
"IT's a MIRACLE FLY SPRAY"
After wasting good money on useless fly sprays, I tried this one. WOW!!! IT WORKS!!!! I bought the concentrate, mixed according to directions (it doesn't get much easier than this), sprayed my horse this morning and immediately the flies were gone!!! And they were still gone when I went back this evening to feed! AMAZING!!! No toxins to worry about and no need to reapply during the day. It lasted ALL day!! And it smells so good too! I think if I had to, I've finally found a product I could sell door to door with PRIDE!!
My horse has to be tied/held to apply other fly sprays, she stands untied when she smells flicks, it smells nice too, no wonder it is on back order. will have to put in my order someplace else...
My horse was being attacked by a swarm flies when I decided to spray him to give him some relief. The flies disappeared within seconds!!!! I sprayed in all the areas wher the flies like to hang out....like belly, legs, mane, tail, chest and neck. After about 4 hours; still no flies!!! This product is a keeper in my arsenal of the spring/summer fly war. This spray works!!! I could not believe the awesome positive results I got with this product. Finally something that does exactly what it claims to do....I pray the manufacturer won't change anything about this product.
This stuff works. Down in Florida the fly's are awful but with the flicks they stay away from your horses it last a long time and smells great. I would recommend this product to anyone anywhere!
"Effective against ticks"
We use this when we take our dogs out for walks in the woods and greenways, and it really cuts down on the number of ticks that they pick up. Very effective and economical.
