"Not a great item."
Have had a couple, and it's true that they don't last. Mine usually develop leaks at the hose connection, in addition to rusting. Going to try a different one next time.
Rusted out in 11 months. So bad water runs continuously to keep it fill. Leak like sieve. Float can't be adjusted properly.
I HAVE HAD OVER 25 OF THESE SIMPLY HORRIBLE Rust through, leak, they do not last LET ME SAY IT AGAIN THEY DO NOT LAST THEY RUST OUT THROUGH THE BOTTOM, AND AT THE HOSE CONNECTION, AND THE HOOD FOR THE FLOAT RUSTS TOO, THE WATER WONT STAY CLEAN LOOKING THE DOGS DO NOT LIKE THE RUSTY WATER WASTE OF MONEY the stainless steel ones are so much better
"Great in Farmyard"
We have 3 of these waterers. One is for a great pyrenees, one for our chickens, and one in with the geese and ducks. All work perfectly. The ducks fill theirs with mud which when dumped washes out easily with the water flow. The float is adjustable and well protected. We are going to buy more.
me and my dad raise and sell boxers and pugs so we bought 2 of these just to try out b4 we bout 15 that we need they done good for about 2 months the they got wer they wouldnt cut on to fill up with water or cut off when they got full i took the floats out of them and just made feed pans out them
