    "Great Product."

I am very pleased with this product. Keeps ticks, horse flies and deer flies off my horses. They do not have any bite marks from mosquitos either. Will be buying again.

    "didn't work"

It did not work at all on my horse. I had to spray him the very next day.

    "great product!"

"my mare has an allergy to the ""no-see-um gnat"" and I have tried many things with this every summer she is tore up. I tried this product this year and the amount of irritation she experienced was greatly reduced! This is a great product for my mare "

    "Difficult to Apply"

Product is very hard to apply, as directed. Product is oily liquid, which you must drop on horse's spine and back of legs in specified amounts. VERY HARD TO DO! Manufacturer should revise product to permit better control during product application.

    "Equi SPot for ticks"

This product is great for ticks and my animals have never had a reaction. We have horses in a heavily wooded tick infected area and this product kills them dead and keeps them off.

    "Equi spot"

When I lived in southern ms my filly had a full engorged tick in her ear, it was so soar she wouldnt let me touch it. The equi spot killed it within a couple of hours and it fell off, I love it

    "Great product!"

Last summer we had a bunch of horses testing positive for Lyme disease in our area including one of my own. I started using Equi-Spot after finding 7 or 8 ticks on my gelding one evening, and never found another tick on any of mine after that day! No reactions to the product and a it has a pleasant citronella smell. I will use it all tick season every year!!!

    "Did not work"

Tried this on my paint from summer into the fall and it did not work on her at all. The flies actually walked across the medicine. Going to try a fly sheet next!

    "BEWARE!"

Be very careful using this product; it burned my horse on his neck and back!

    "Works great!"

I used this on our Arabian horses for several years. It is a very effective product and a great time-saver--no more fly masks, no more sprays. It did take a couple of days to get into the horses' systems on the first application of the year, but it also lasted closer to 3.5 weeks, rather than two. Owners of horses larger than 1,000 pounds may need a little more than one applicator. For our 14.2 to 15.2 horses, it has been perfect!

    "AWESOME!"

I used this on my quarter horse mare because nothing else seems to work to fight off the flies and ever since then I have noticed that the flies stay away from her. It really works and she doesn't fight me to put it on either. With the fly spray I have to worry about wearing it when I am spraying her down but with the use of Equi-Spot I don't have that worry at all.

    "Works on Ticks"

I specifically use Equispot for ticks and it works well. I started using it in NY where the ticks carry lyme disease. I would bathe the horse after the two weeks and reapply. It helps with the flies, but I use a spray as well. Flies are mosly annoying, ticks carry disease.

    "wonderful"

This product is wonderful but is like alot of topical products it works better after the second dose is applied, I have been using it all summer on a very sensitive paint and after using for a month I was able to stop with fly sprays I continued use as directed for several months and was able to stop using it for 2 months before I noticed any flys bothering him, once it is in the system it lasts! I would have given it a 5 if it worked the first dose as well as it does after the 2nd and 3rd.

    "Does Not Work"

Applied as directed to my horses, it's been 5 days and flies are still landing on and biting my horses. After reading the reviews I was hopeful that this product would work, but unfortunately it does not.
