Nice, heavy nylon. I also use these as a rein extender while on long trail rides.
"Nice Big Clip"
I like the clips on these - bigger than a lot of bucket straps. Easier to use when my hands are full or when wearing gloves!
"Every barn needs these"
From holding trailer door open, to hanging extra water buckets-these straps have a hundred uses. I ordered 10 of them, and keep them in the trailer, barn, tack room, and my car!
We use these straps chained to steel kennel panels to keep our goats at their feeding stations while they wait to be milked. Even with the girls pulling and tugging hard on their end of the straps they haven't broken or even worn down. (the straps are outdoors but covered/protected from the elements on a patio.) These straps are versatile and make great short leads for training the goats to walk on leashes too!
"Fantastic, Versatile & Inexpensive!"
I absolutely love this product! We use it for so many different things around the barn. It does a great job as a bucket strap and it also serves as our gate strap for our most frequently used gate. In addition, we can hang hay holders from it, hold the stall bar in our slant load trailer...the list goes on and on. What I like best though is that even though we've had it out in the weather with lots of rain holding our gate shut (with 2 1200 lb. horses that are houdinis!), it hasn't started to rust or fray at all in over 4 months! And of course, the price is great! I highly recommend this product as a multi-use item around the barn!
useful, but I like the bucket strap that has the metal ring on the other end, it's easier the thread through
What a great device! We use this handy strap everywhere! I?ÇÖve used them for hanging up cages, buckets, anything that I need put up and away. They make a great tie-up for giving a goat a shot or for keeping them still for a hoof trim.
