    "Close but..."

I'm seriously bummed! I just got my "Large" Avalon and it looks super and weighs nearly nothing. Problem is, even though the sizing on the large says 7 1/4+, this helmet is too small for my head! I figured since the large Troxel Reliance fit me (I'm size 7 1/2- 7 5/8) the Avalon would too, but the shell is too small for me to even come close to getting it on my head (and yes, I checked to make sure it was really a large because I really wanted this helmet). It would look great in the hunter or jumper ring and cost 1/3 of a GPA.
