I have been struggling with many kinds of trimmers for years. Rose trimmers, horse nippers & my farrier suggested I purchase these. I bought 2 sets. I tried them the other day & all I can say is that they are worth their weight in gold! Unbelievable! I wish I had found these 20 years ago! WOW
"The Cadillac of trimmers!!"
I am a Professional Goat & Sheep Hoof Trimmer and these are the absolute BEST trimmers out there!! They cut through tough hooves like butter, are very durable and stay SHARP!! https://www.facebook.com/GoatSheepHoofTrimmingByGretchen
"excellent trimmers!!! "
This was the greatest investment that I have ever made. The red ARS hoof trimmer made my job of trimming my goats so easy that I was amazed at the performance of this little tool. It would be worth the money even if I had to replace them every time I trim. They saved my back and hands from getting sore and the speed kept my goats happy. Thanks for a GREAT product !!!
We had been using another pair to trim alpaca nails and always had trouble. We got hold of an ARS trimmer and the cut the nails like butter. Could not believe the difference.
these are sharp handy useful shears but not durable enough...goat hoofs can be very very tough and the jaws of these razor sharp shears are thin walled and the pivot point is not quite robust enough...the jaws separate with heavy stress....but they are useful, this will be my third pair in 18 months.....truth being they work well for the initial cut but then set them aside and use a true heavy duty serrated straight scissors to complete the cut
"Simply the Best"
I have used the ARS trimmers for years now and can state that these trimmers are the best I have used. They stay sharp and will cut the hooves of my Boer buck like butter. Don't forget to wear a glove on the other hand!
