These are excellent clippers, I have used them for about 10 years and have never had a problem with them. I have 8+ Std. Poodles and believe me they get a work out. I have had to replace the battery packs twice and am about to order my third set. Ni-Clad batteries wear out period, but you get 2 or 3 years of service out of them which is about the standard for these batteries. I work in the construction industry and all power tools need to have replacement in about the same time period. They get "tired" after a while, that goes with the territory. Not to having deal with a cord is a godsend in poodles.
These clippers are great!! I have had mine for at least two or more years. Not sure how previous review spent that much money. Also you can buy extra batter, attachable cord, stand all separately. When I bought mine I also bought an extra battery to rotate. If there are problems with the clippers. Go to Andis.com and find a service center. They can fix them for you.
"AGI CORDLESS CLIPPERS"
Pros: No cord, light weight, power full, compact Cons: About 2 years old and already the battery pack is not good and I have not found anywhere that will repair it or a place to buy pack. I only have 4 dogs so it is used but not as much as a professional groomer would use it. I hate that I spent almost $550. and they only lasted 2 years.
