Probably the only thing so far I have ever bought from Jeffers that I wasn't pleased with. I have bought a couple thinking the one I got may have been defective, but the others were the same. Low read outs! Kept telling me my temp was 93.6... then I tried it on my dog and she had 98.5... not good when it may read low when they have a high fever and the thermometer tells me it's normal due to a low read out! Won't use them! Back to the nondigitals for me!!
Very fast readout. Works better than any I've used before.
I love the quick readout of this thermometer. A good thermometer is essential for any livestock owner. The accurate, digital display makes the job so much easier. And the price was perfect...I should have bought a few of these - I will definitely buy this thermometer again.
The 9 second Digital thermometer by Marshall Electronics is a real lifesaver. No one enjoys the task of taking an animal?ÇÖs temperature, so the fact that this thermometer works accurately and QUICKLY is very important. It is really a ?Ç£must have?Ç¥ for the emergency kit?Ǫin fact we have two working thermometers at all times, just in case.
I absolutely LOVE the 9 second thermometer. You never really know how badly you need one until it isn?ÇÖt there. With the 9 second thermometer taking the temperatures of calves and goats was a breeze as we didn?ÇÖt have to fight with the animals to get them to stand still very long, and the numbers were large enough that we didn?ÇÖt have to second guess what it said. I also loved the way it turned itself off. We got a lot of snow and rain here this year and honestly I have no idea how many times I have dropped my thermometer in the snow and mud and it still continues to work! Just a quick and easy clean off and ready to use again. A thermometer is a must have for any livestock producer?ÇÖs medical cabinet and livestock first aid kits and the 9 second thermometer would definitely be one of my top suggestions.
When an animal is sick the last thing you want to do is waste time. In 9 seconds you can get an accurate read on where your animal's temp is at and how to proceed. Lacking in this is the fact like all digital thermometers they arent as accurate in the winter as I would like.
