If you already have a pair of SMB boots, using these ice packs is really fast and easy. They fit right into the SMBs and stay just where you put them.
No problem with putting these on your horse and walking away for 15-20 minutes because they're protected by the SMBs. Don't forget about them; because of the neoprene of the SMBs, they do heat up a little faster in the summer, so time it accordingly.
A pair of these will last you probably 40-50 icings, more if you're careful. About that time, some of ice pockets may leak. If only a few leak, not a big deal, but slightly less effective.
All in all, very easy to use and highly recommended!
