I thought this was going to be the ultimate toy for my German Shorthair Pointer. Not so. She's chewed the handle nearly off after only a few hours of supervised play. Her back teeth are pretty sharp as a puppy and even with me playing with her constantly, she's gotten a lot of handle chewed to nearly a nub. Might be better suited for horses I see.
My Doberman loves this ball. I knew this had to be better than a slightly deflated basketball he was playing around in the yard with and sure enough it has his approval! It keeps him entertained!
Have a video of my stallion playing and romping with his Jolly Ball... He loves it so much he would guard it when you came in the pen....No he was not mean about it... just protecting his play partner. You can check it out on my face book page. Unfortunately the wind stole his ball this summer and until I can afford another one he has to be on his own....
