This is an expensive treatment method if you have more than 1 dog. We have 3 dogs, all needing treatment for hookworm (it's a natural worm in our Texas soils). As we will need to treat monthly for the next year or so, the vet recommended this drug be purchased through a vet pharmacy vendor. We bought 16 oz. (2 cups) of Anthelban V for $35. It is 50 mg/ml strength, labeled for equine, but still perfectly fine for dogs, per the vet. This one bottle should last us 6 months. Consider your need before buying this weak, small quantity.
