Skin Medication for dogs. The only over-the-counter aid in the treatment of hot spots (moist dermatitis) approved by the FDA. An effective first aid for scrapes and abrasions.
We used this back in 1980's for a golden ret. we had. In desperation, after MONTHS of vet bills, I grabbed it off the shelf again. Using it and benedryl orally I have healed up every hotspot since without vet. Simply sissor clip hair short over hotspot and apply twice a day. I give benedryl 3x/day for itching and they are dried up and gone in a week.
I have used this on a lot of my dogs over the past ten years. It does have a strong odor but it really does help heal the wounds really fast. It does have the odor I think to help the pets to not want to lick it off. Would recommend this product
