This product works well as long as you thoroughly wash and rinse the area, gently, between each new application. I wouldn't use it anywhere near an animal's eyes, since even the washing and rinsing could irritate their eyes, and especially the ointment. Be careful not to let a thick layer of dead skin build up from the product's use. The build-up of dead skin layers prevents the ointment from absorbing into new scar tissue layers. I am disappointed this item has doubled in price over the last year or so. I don't understand such a large hike in price.
This is the WORST product I've used. It just plainly DOES NOT WORK...even if used as directed. Applied TWICE DAILY. I had high hopes for the older Dog who had a wart just over an eyebrow...but the product failed entirely. totally a waste of money. Only the high cost of return postage prevents me from asking for a full refund!
