I have used these for many years, the news ones last longer than the older version. I leave them in the snow,rain,ice, I have seen them froze solid and when they thaw out still perfect. I have also left them out in the 95 degree heat and does not effect them. Thanks for providing us with such a high quality product.
This product is tough. I have one for 23 large chickens and a rooster and have been using the same one for almost 10 months! It has had NO problems. it holds up great. great product.
I have read several reviews on this product, most of which are rated as poor. I personally have found them to be perfect for starting a flock of chickens and ducks. The trick I have learned is to set the container full of water on a flat surface and spin the bottom on. When it tightens up, screw only a little tighter. I have had no spills or leaks of any kind. When in the pen, then invert the waterer with no problems.
