Single dose protection without the use of needles. Safe in kittens as young as 3 weeks of age. Place one drop of vaccine in the corner of each eye. The remaining vaccine is administered by placing the vaccine equally in each nostril as the animal inhales.
Do NOT inject this vaccine.
Annual revaccination is recommended. If vaccinated at less than 12 weeks of age, a second vaccination should be administered at 12-16 weeks of age to assure vaccination against Feline Panleukopenia.
I bought these Feline Focus 3 vaccines for a litter of kittens I took from someone who could not care for them. My daughter held each kitten while I administered the drops. They each sneezed just a little liquid out of their noses. Took only a couple of minutes to do all 4. Since I am not sure of their exact age, I bought a second set to give (or send with them to their new homes) in a few weeks. Ready to find them homes!
This MLV nasal/eye vaccine is safest one I have found at Jeffers recently in single dose. It is not as suggestive in causing inflammation/kidney damage-and such from over vaccination of killed vaccines or inject type. Check current stats and then deal. I have always had excellent protection with two doses 1st 8-9 wks and an additional at NLT 16wks-followed by a single follow up 1 yr later -or 16MONTHS of age-(if) the titers on pano aren't there-HOWEVER using this one-the titer is showing PROTECTION where the others are not as reliable. Considering what is optimal for my animals and any I place I recommend doing the safe -best-and as it goes most economical. THIS IS IT. NOW if Jeffers would get in the PureVax-Meriel -FELV and Rabies they could have all my orders
