Heavy cotton canvas top with a maize fleece bottom. Closely quilted with a 1" wool felt filler and finished with suede wear leathers. Great for showing and working cutters.
Lots of padding. Distributes pressure evenly. Eliminates pressure points. Great all around pad.
I worked for a reined cow horse trainer this winter and they used these pads all the time. I got one for my QT horse and it fits great. Between the tree (semi-qt bars) on my wade saddle and this pad I haven't found a better match. My 3yr and the colts I start all sweat evenly with these pads, Im going to try it with two other saddles and see they pair, but i will most likely be ordering one or two more. Not fancy but good for cowboy work, and the girlfriends trail horse.
I've used Diamond Cutter work pads for many years for my Cutting show horses. They are great they last forever if you wash them properly every 3-4 months
I've used this pad twice- the first ride was only 30 minutes and was fine. our second ride was 3 hours and rubbed my TB raw on the top of his left hind quarter.....in a really weird place. Not sure what I'll do to fix the issue.
