I ordered these tags because I wanted plastic instead of metal, and the description sounded like a high-quality, durable tag. I am overall very disappointed with what I received for the price. The engraving is a little hard to read, and is not engraved but 'printed' on one side of the tag with the back side being white and not colored to match the front side. Besides being disappointed in the tag itself for the price paid, it was a nightmare getting my tags. I placed my order with Jeffers in Nov 2012. After waiting 3 weeks, I wrote the company (no phone number is included, and the instructions say to mail a letter to the company instead of Jeffers.) So there went another 45 cents plus the wait for my letter to be received and read by this company. On January 4, 2013 I FINALLY received the 3 tags I ordered. Well, guess what - one is completely wrong! They have the wrong name for the dog on the tag along with other mistakes in printing. And yes, you guessed right - I have to write ANOTHER letter and enclose the incorrect tag to get it corrected, which means 65cents for postage plus another wait. By my calculations, I might have my last tag by the end of January. If I'm lucky enough to receive the corrected tag by then, it will have taken over 2 months to get all 3 dog tags. Not worth it, and I would NEVER order this tag again! They are way to expensive for the quality, and not worth the aggravation of dealing with this company! I'm still hoping I receive my 3rd tag.
I ordered tags from this company over 4 years ago. I remember they arrived promptly and as expected. I have one dog that freaks over tags clanking so the plastic tags have been a wonderful solution. The only reason I am needing to replace is the cat lost his, collar and all, and the girl dog's tag, the hole wore through after over 4 years. The lettering is still legible. I have added 2 dogs to the mix and they need tags too.
