Standard diffusion test. Uses a sample of milk, a nutrient tablet, a plastic ampule and a block heater (sold separately) to provide a dry heat environment for the incubation of the ampules.

Results (yellow indicating negative and purple indicating positive) can be read in 2½ hrs.

Delvotest P has a high sensitivity to Penicillin & is sensitive to Cloxacillin, Nafcillin, Amoxicillin, Ampicillin, Tetracycline, Oxtetracycline, Chlortetracycline, Chloramphenicol, Streptomycin, Neomycin, Kanamycin, Bacitracin, Erythromycin, Rifamycin, Spiramycin, Novobiocin, Naxce., Hetacillin, Lincomycin, Gentamycin, Tylosin, Cefalexin, Cefadroxil, Cefalonium, Cephapirin, Virginiamycin and Sulfa-compounds.
