The Nina Ottosson Treat Maze is a brightly colored, fun and interactive treat dispenser that is great for occupying and stimulating cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. Fill with treats or dry food.
I have 3 puppy mill dogs. The mother never had to use her mind. This toy is the greatest thing in the world for her because she likes food. It took her almost a month to figure it out and now she loves it. I have tried other treat dispensing toys and she gave up on them. Now she might be able to figure them out!
Have had this for about a year now and it is holding up great. My dog loves it and it keeps him busy for a bit. Great way to give your dog some treats and make their mind work :-)
We own ALL the Nina toys. This is by far, the least challenging. It requires no skill to "play" it and often frustrates dogs who need a challenge. My dalmatian attempted to chew the edges of it to get to the treat. I'm guessing it frustrated her. Invest in the Casino, Brick or Twister. If you're looking for more of an entry level toy to introduce them to interactives, I'd invest in one of the others. This one is ho-hum.
