The hat and the tongue were worthless potential foreign bodies, as they fell off within the first 1.5 minutes of playing. The squeakers have held up better than any other squeaky toy we've got and has survived tugging by 2 great Danes for more than a couple of weeks. Overall, great toy...I am going to buy a couple for back-ups, just going to take off the tongue and hat before I even give them to the dogs.
i got this and about 5 other toys for my pit mix and this has been the first one to be destroyed! ... the hat came off right away which i didnt really care about .. she loved it for about a month and a half and just the other day ripped it in half... the squeakers DO NOT squeak when punctured and the fabric seemed different then the fabric used for other kyjen products (which are the strongest plush dog toys if you ask me).. i got the 35" green one... not sure if i would get it again
