¾" thick heavy duty pad will not creep out from under the saddle. Helps saddle stay in place. Open screen air-flow dissipates heat and allows evaporation of moisture. Sturdy polyester binding with wear strips. Can be used under any pad and preserves the life of your more expensive pads. Will not collect horse hair. Cleans easily and dries quickly.
We have had two of these pads for about six years. They have held up well, although the rubber is starting to pit and I think that we will eventually need to get new ones. They clean up really well, just hose off. WE trail ride a lot and the thickness has been OK especially if your saddles fit well. We like them for steep hills since the saddles do not slip as much. They breathe well and have not ripped or frayed. We will be buying replacements. I also like the fact that they come in a size smaller than 32 by 32.
