The "Squeaker" in this toy is a nice low sound, not the typical high pitch squeak that most toys have. We have had ours for about 8-9 months now and my dog gets really excited whenever she hears the sound of it. She is normally a destroyer, but she likes playing with this toy and has not been too eager on destroying it, so it has held up really well so far.
I bought ten of these I-Squeak Bowling Pins in medium for my Dobies and Aussies. We've got five in use and five are in the toy bag. So far, after several months of use, they are still in good shape, with only a little chewing on the bottom. The squeak is very deep and lulling. My Dobies enjoy squeaking and playing fetch with them. The Aussies carry them around and chase after them when I throw them. I threw them in our kiddie pool in the summer, and the dogs would step in and fetch them out.
