Does not work at all on my calm chow-chow. She doesnt like these+she bangs her head front forward into wall till plastic cracks+ breaks off. Knew there had to be a better-more comfortable way, so bought cloud kong+ comfy cone which she doesnt mind! She is 13+ not a puppy but cant stand this plastic cone. I use sometimes this type for my yorkies+ so far it works but not that comfortable to wear day+night. Closure snaps dont work too good for me even on yorkies. Swithched them to both the other comfy+kong cones, which they can rest in+work happier!
Fasterners are not the greatest but are a lot easier than the threaded type.
I simply put a piece of duck tape over it and it stays extremely well.
This has been a life saver for our Giant Schnauzer who is allergic to fleas and topical flea remedies.
I bought 3 of these.. And I still have 2 sitting in the cupboard. The fasteners suck big time.. They kept popping undone everytime the puppy would catch it on something.. I much prefer the old ones that you threaded thru and fastened..
