Our chocolate lab is allergic to everything that is used as fillers for dog foods and treats. We literally had to carry his allergy sheet with us to find a food that had nothing in it he was allergic to when trying to find him a food to eat. We were surprised to find treats also!!! Thank you Natural Balance!!! With 3 other dogs he was feeling left out :)
Fish is the only protein my lab Zeus can handle – poor guy has been through a lot to find that out but now we have it under control after bouts of skin issues and stomach problems. I’ve given him every dog fish treat on the market and this one is the best – hands down – AND he likes these the best so it gets an A++ in my book. He gets VERY excited for these treats and I love the natural healthy ingredients inside.
I got these for my pup who needs to be on a limited ingredient diet. We are still determining his allergies at this time, so we've had to cut out all wheat, corn, soy, chicken and beef for now. These treats are great for that, and he loves them. They have a hickory smoked scent to them. They were not as pictured though, they actually were in a very small biscuit shape instead of the bigger shape they show in the photo. Perfect for small dogs or for training, etc. They fit in his Kong also, and he loves trying to get them out.
