I have an happy high energy frisbie pound dog that gets the best use out of this product. Lasts much longer than any frisbie out there. Yes, eventually after all the playing and tugging it gets destroyed, but last months longer than anything else, so for me it is a great value. Now if I could just get here to retrieve the 2 or 3 flyers she has run out into the woods with never to return, I wouldnt have to buy so many replacements.
This is a great rubber frisbee for my pound dog that would not play with any toy until we figured out that she loves frisbees. It is one toy that does not squeak!! She freaks out wiht anything that my other dogs squeak. This will last for my middle size dog for a very long time
We had had the red Kong Flyer for several years and has held up great to our 4 large dogs. They love it and it was leaving it out in the weather that caused the middle to just fall out. I would consider buying the black flyer, but it is out of stock. The plastic frisbees last about 30 seconds because for some reason they want to chew on it, but they do not do that with this rubber one...maybe that is why it has held up so long. Because of it's felxibility it is easy for them to pick up or catch in mid air and provides them with lots of exercise. Fortunately they do not play tug with this toy or I might be telling a different story..LOL I love the Kong products and most are made in the USA which makes be feel better about giving it to my dogs.
