Proper PawTectors® sizing is determined by your dog’s paw size. Measure the width of your dog’s front paw at its widest point, while your dog is standing. (A snug fit is better, if too loose they may slip off.) These are the maximum widths for each size:
XS – 1 ¾” (4 ½ cm)
S – 2 ¼” (6 cm)
M – 2 ¾” (7cm)
L – 3 ¼” (8cm)
XL – 3 ¾” (9 ½ cm)
I have used many differnt kinds of dog boots over the years. Two large dogs who like to sink in mud. These are some of my favorites. Easy to remove and put on. More durable than others I've tried.
We bought these for our heavier dog (about 75 lbs) because our backyard is mostly mud. It was tough on those rainy days having to wiper her big paw. These are perfect. when they are filthy i just rinse and wash them off and re-use. We got the medium size for our girl and they fit great! I think these run a little on the big size.
