We got two of the 22 # ones hoping to reduce the waste of crumble style feeds and these work great. We can hang them off the ground, they hold a lot of food so we don't have to refill often, and they are sturdy so even when twenty chickens are eating out of one they hold up well.
We use these when we raise meat chickens. They are easy to fill and stay clean when you hang them at just the right height. We use a rope that can be easily adjusted for height as the chicks grow fast. Using these we have less waste and cleaner feed than a feed pan.
