LOVE this clipper set!

I called Andis and asked them to guide me to the right set...the woman suggested this one because it is made in the US, and when blades get dull, I can send them to Andis for sharpening. You can't do that with the Andis sets made in China. She also recommended Jeffers which has the best price anywhere! I've had them now for several months and, as she said, I oil them before I start, again halfway through & once more at the end (most people fail to do this and the heat from the blade friction causes many of their clipper problems). I do this faithfully and have had nothing but success with these! It is truly like moving a knife through warm butter...the hair just falls to the floor as I move the clipper over him (I always clip him after a bath and brushing so I don't catch constantly in dirt or knots). Clipping my 65 lb Goldendoodle only takes about 1/2 an hour or so and he looks SO much better than the groomers left him. I LOVE these clippers and am thrilled that I made the investment (especially since they were less than one trip to the groomers!).

quiet clippers

I bought these clippers on 2/25/09 & they are very good. I have 3 Shih-tzu that I groom every month. My dogs fall asleep while I am grooming they because they are so quiet.
