Helps to relieve pressure on your horse's back that is caused by an ill-fitting saddle. By selectively utilizing the removable shims, the rider can drastically reduce the pressure on the horse's back. For example, if the tree of your saddle is too narrow in the shoulder and wither area, remove the most forward shim on each side of the pad to relive the pressure. 1" wool felt bottom, 1/2" removable shims.
