I'm a big fan of Jeffer's, but disappointed with these. Used to buy the giant bag of real Retriever Rolls (I think cadet was the brand) at the members only warehouse/bulk store for a very good price, but they quit carrying them and my dogs choke on the knots from the bone shaped ones, so we tried these as an alternative. They're more expensive than the brand name (I suppose I'd call these generic, as they came 2 each in clear bags with no labels, not shrink wrapped, or really sealed very well at all) and are only about 1/2 the quality, if even. The raw hide is very thin and some of them are "puffed" to make them appear thicker, but it's only air. The 2 bigger dogs finish these (9") in about 20 minutes, while the tiny dog's lasts about 3x as long. I don't think these are a good value, wish I hadn't bought so many of them, and I won't be buying them again.
I bought the 9" beef rolls for my three dogs. They were cheap and I wanted to get my dogs something nice to snack on. My dogs are pretty hardy chewers and these lasted for about three days. They were a nice break from cow hooves and just regular rawhide strips. I think that for the price they are a good buy and that they are a high quality treat. My dogs also loved them and that is the best part!
