I purchased 20 of the standard insulators 10 failed completely. When I tried to install them by screwing them into a post the insulator would spin on the lag screw. This made them useless because they wouldn't tighten against the post. It appears that the lag bolt was installed after the insulator was made. I have used the same type insulators from other manufacturers with no problem. Don't buy these cheaply made insulators. I really disappointed in Jeffers selling such a poor quality product.
