The threads on this feeder don't hold very well at all. You have to hold the bottom when you move the feeder or it may fall off. They need to all more material to the mold because the sides are too thin.
The old model was much, much better.
I have used these for many years, the news ones last longer than the older version. I leave them in the snow,rain,ice, I have seen them froze solid and when they thaw out still perfect. I have also left them out in the 95 degree heat and does not effect them. Thanks for providing us with such a high quality product.
This product is tough. I have one for 23 large chickens and a rooster and have been using the same one for almost 10 months! It has had NO problems. it holds up great. great product.
