My dog was fairly adept at getting out of this thing. Finally pushed hard enough with head to pull the zipper apart, and since there is no part that is not sewed into the thing I can't fix the zipper. So if your dog (or cat) doesn't mind it, it's a cute and convenient way to carry them around. But one head butt on that zipper was all it took. I got about 4 uses out of this thing. Now it is useless.
I bought 2 of these and they work great..at least until my cat figured out how to unzip the top opening. That is my only complaint. I have the big ones, and have taken them on Airlines, so check with the airlines if you want to bring the big one on.
I wish there was a way to secure the top closed. My cat gets her head between the zipper and the clasp. then just unzips it until she can get out, even when leashed in.
Very nice carrier. I have one and will order another. Perfect for taking my 6lb dog anywhere and the cats fit also. Used for cat trip to vet. Vet commented on what a nice carrier it was.
