I was rather amused by the other review who said the pad's "underside gets very sweaty and hairy and is not so easy to clean.." Horses sweat. They shed. Pads get sweaty and hairy. I wash my pads in the washer and they come out clean, although I don't expect all the hair to come off. The other reviewer also said the pad came out faded after washing, and I'd bet they washed the pad in hot water, and may have even used bleach. Use warm water or even cold. I have all white pads that come out clean in cold water, with a good detergent. And I've never had a pad fade.
This is a great pad, but the whiteish/creamish underside gets very sweaty and hairy and is not so easy to clean. Has held up well, and I've had it for 5 months (using it 3 times a week). After the first wash I noticed that it was sort of washed out... but it is still an all around cute, fun, paisley pad!
