Good for most goats

I gave this vaccine to my herd of Nigerian & Nigerian/Pygora cross goats. The Nigerians all did fine & I have not had any sniffles since giving the vaccine. All 3 of my pet Nigerian/Pygora cross goats had a bad reaction & almost died. A few hours after receiving the vaccine they started acting miserable & bloated really bad. It took banamine & bloat medication to pull them through. Not sure why they had that type of reaction - they were totally healthy prior to receiving the vaccine. They are brothers & sisters out of the same litter, so maybe they have some type of allergy to the ingredients. I will not be giving them the vaccine again!

We vaccinated our herd of nigerian dwarfs this year for the first time with this pasteuralla vaccine. We are over halfway through the winter and so far no pnuemonia, not even a cough or a runny nose. So far so good, I am impressed.

A few years back we brought back Pneumonia from a goat show... it swept through the entire herd and resulted in 1 death. The following year we administered this vaccine and have had no issues at all with any respiratory infections or coughing. I am very happy to have found this product and highly recommend it to those with goats!
