For supplement give 1/2 tsp per 10 lb of weight daily. For a full ration give 3 tsp per 10 lb of weight daily.
Nobody likes to think about - or to plan for - a family member being sick, but cats do get sick now and then. When they do, it's important that they still take in calories for energy. Keep Nutri-Cal in the pantry (ours resides in the refrigerator) for those times it's needed. When you see that the expiration date is approaching for an unopened tube that you were fortunate not to need, donate your tube to a rescue (it will be used and appreciated) and buy yourself a new tube.
