I like Mug Balm because it not only protects my horses face from the sun but it also protects them from bugs.. Living in Florida we have plenty of both. I'll rub this on my horses faces and ears where the bugs irritate the most and I don't have to worry about the sun burning them because of the sunscreen.
I had high hopes on this one but after trying to put it on my horse's muzzle three times, he clearly does not like this product. It is back to zinc oxide for us.
this is the best thing i have ever tried on my white nosed mare!!! no more blistering or even a hint of sunburn. goes on easily and smells good to! i also love the fact it goes on thin and doesnt run makes application a breeze!
