I love this stuff!!! It works every time. I have even been able to work out the worst tangled mess in tails full of sticks and debris without having to cut their tails. I take in rescues and they come to me in the worst possible condition and this product helps make them beautiful again. I just wish it came by the gallon.
I pulled my horse from pasture last night and couldn't believe the gobs of pine sap in his mane and tail. I thought I would have to cut the things out like gum in a child's hair. But I thought, try the Mane n' Tail product, saturate the hair, work it in and see if there is any improvement. Well, in about a minute the hair began to pull easily from the blobs of sap and I was able to get all of it out. I did have to cut one small area on his mane where things were knotted up as well as hardened, but I was amazed how much I was able to remove! I've been sold on the product for basic grooming but this feat just had to be shared!
This product works great on the worst of tangles. There are broodmares at the farm I board at who don't get their manes brushed and I use this product on them to get out knots. On my horse, I use the product about once every other week to keep his tail flowing. Great stuff!
